Remove ClothOff content from Bluesky

The combined situation

ClothOff is a single purpose nudify service that takes a clothed photograph and returns a nude reconstruction. It has been the subject of formal complaints by Spanish, French, and Italian regulators since 2023. When ClothOff output appears on Bluesky, removal proceeds through the statutory takedown process under 47 USC 223a combined with source attribution to strengthen the legal claim.

Why this combination is high risk

ClothOff has been linked to multiple school harassment cases involving minors in Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The service has no age verification and outputs are routinely shared on Telegram and Discord. On Bluesky specifically, bluesky's open atproto network allows third party clients and appviews to display the same content. a removal from the official bluesky app does not always remove from third party clients.

How removal proceeds

Bluesky accepts NCII reports through its in app moderation flow and through its trust and safety email. The PDS architecture means content is hosted on individual personal data servers in addition to the network appView. Source attribution to ClothOff is documented through clothoff outputs typically display a soft skin gradient transition along the original clothing edge, slight asymmetry in nipple placement, and a faint moire pattern in the lower abdomen, which strengthens the takedown notice and supports parallel legal action.
