The combined situation

AI deepfake intimate imagery of you is being distributed through a Discord server, often with persistent channels dedicated to the content. Discord's NCII policy and Trust and Safety team operate one of the more responsive removal pipelines among major platforms. When this scenario plays out on Bluesky specifically, removal proceeds through the statutory takedown process under 47 USC 223a combined with the scenario specific response that spread cases require.

Why this combination is high risk

Bluesky's open ATProto network allows third party clients and appViews to display the same content. A removal from the official Bluesky app does not always remove from third party clients. For discord server deepfake cases, discord servers operate as semi public communities with both administrator controlled moderation and platform trust and safety oversight. the combination produces faster removal than fully unmoderated platforms.

How removal proceeds

Bluesky accepts NCII reports through its in app moderation flow and through its trust and safety email. The PDS architecture means content is hosted on individual personal data servers in addition to the network appView. Discord Trust and Safety routinely takes server level action including server termination and operator account ban, which is more comprehensive than single content removal.
