What is Deepfake content?

Deepfake intimate content is AI-generated or synthetically created material that places your face or likeness on an explicit body or in an explicit scene without your consent. Deepfakes share no pixels with your authentic photos, which is why biometric face scanning — not reverse image search — is required to find them.

How Bing is required to respond

Bing is a covered platform under the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act (47 U.S.C. 223a). Upon receiving a formally compliant Section 223a removal notice, Bing has 48 hours to remove the identified content. Failure to comply exposes Bing to FTC civil penalties of up to $50,000 per violation per day.
